Timothy Ministry
Inspired by Paul's mentorship of Timothy, this ministry brings together counselors and emerging leaders who stand alongside our church elders. Members provide guidance, counsel, information, and practical support to church leadership, helping carry the work of the ministry with wisdom and faithfulness. Timothy Ministry members are elected by the congregation to serve a two-year term, investing in the health of the church today while preparing to lead tomorrow.
Title: Adoptive Families Ministry
Every child deserves to know the beauty of where they come from. The Adoptive Families Ministry welcomes families who have adopted children from Ethiopia and creates a warm space where those children can connect with their heritage, culture, and faith community. Through fellowship, worship, and cultural activities such as the traditional coffee ceremony, Ethiopian food, music, and dress, children and parents alike experience the richness of Ethiopian life together. Our church family is honored to walk alongside adoptive families, offering friendship, encouragement, and a place where their children are known, celebrated, and always belong. Each year, the ministry hosts a special Ethiopian Christmas (Genna) celebration on January 7, featuring worship, a coffee ceremony, a children's corner with cultural activities, face painting, a cultural showcase, an Ethiopian lunch, and free traditional Ethiopian clothing for the children.
Women's Ministry
A community where women grow deeper in faith and in friendship with one another. Through Bible study, prayer, mentoring, fellowship, and special events, women of every age and season of life are encouraged, equipped, and reminded that they are never walking alone.
Men's Ministry
A place for men to grow spiritually, sharpen one another, and build lasting brotherhood. Beyond weekly Bible study, service projects, and fellowship, men come together to learn and talk openly about the practical responsibilities of life, including parenting, health, estate planning, and financial education. We encourage men to lead with faith, wisdom, and integrity in their homes, workplaces, church, and community.
Family Ministry (Couples Group)
Strong families build a strong church. This ministry brings married couples together to study God's Word and learn practical wisdom on marriage, parenting, finances, and everyday family life. Couples find encouragement, honest conversation, and friendships that strengthen their homes for generations.
Young Adults Ministry
For young adults ages 18 to 30, this is a community to be encouraged, inspired, and challenged to live out faith in real life. Through Friday services, small group Bible studies, and special events, young adults find belonging, purpose, and friendships rooted in Christ.
High School Ministry
A vibrant, Christ-centered community where high school students explore big questions, grow in their faith, and build meaningful friendships. Weekly Bible studies, monthly worship nights, and special events equip students to follow Jesus boldly through the years that shape their future.
Middle School Ministry
A welcoming place where middle schoolers learn about Jesus, ask questions, and grow together. Through weekly Bible studies, monthly worship nights, and fun events, students build a strong foundation of faith and friendship during an important season of life.
Kids Ministry (Children's Ministry)
A safe, joyful place where children from birth to age 9 discover God's love through Bible stories, worship, activities, and games. We partner with parents by providing resources to nurture faith at home. Every volunteer serving our children is background checked for your peace of mind.
Bible Study Ministry
Grow in your understanding of God's Word through small groups led by experienced teachers. Each study connects Scripture to everyday life through meaningful discussion, with materials provided. Everyone is welcome, whether you are opening the Bible for the first time or have studied it for years.
Worship and Arts Ministry
Our worship teams, choirs, and musicians are devoted to leading the congregation into the presence of God. Through music, song, video, and creative arts, this ministry cultivates an atmosphere of worship that honors and glorifies the Lord. If God has gifted you musically or creatively, there is a place for you here.
Prayer Ministry
Prayer is the heartbeat of our church. This team of dedicated intercessors meets regularly to pray for the needs of our congregation, our community, and the world. If you need prayer, or feel called to stand in the gap for others, we invite you to join us.
Evangelism Ministry
Equipping believers to share the Good News of Jesus with compassion and confidence. Through teaching, preaching, counseling, and community outreach, this ministry carries the Gospel beyond our walls and into the lives of those who have yet to hear it.
Audio-Visual Ministry
Behind every service is a team making sure the message is seen and heard clearly. The AV team supports Sunday services and special events with sound, visuals, and technology, and manages our livestream so members and friends can worship with us from anywhere in the world.
Deacons
Following the example of the early church, our deacons serve the congregation with humility and care. They support the pastoral leadership by handling practical and administrative needs, ensuring that the life of the church runs smoothly and every member is cared for.
Church Elders and Leaders
Our elders provide spiritual oversight and governance for the church. With prayer and wisdom, they guide the direction of the congregation, safeguard sound teaching, and work alongside the pastoral team to shepherd the church faithfully.
Pastoral Team
Led by our Lead Pastor, the pastoral team is called to shepherd, teach, and care for the congregation. They preach God's Word, provide pastoral counsel, and walk alongside members through every season of life.
Mission Team
Answering the call to go and make disciples, the Mission Team organizes mission trips, supports missionaries, and coordinates local outreach. Whether across the street or across the world, this ministry helps our church share Christ's love in word and deed.
Charity and Good Samaritans
Like the Good Samaritan, this ministry sees people in need and responds with compassion. The team organizes service events and provides practical help to those facing physical or financial hardship, both within our church family and in the wider community.
Service and Maintenance Team
This team cares for the place where we gather. Members prepare and set up for services and events and look after our facilities, creating a clean, welcoming space where everyone can worship and fellowship. It is a wonderful way to serve with your hands.
